Release notes for MDSF Version 3.1.0
Version 3.1.0 of the MDSF software was released on 21st January 2003. This version is available only on CD-ROM as it contains a roll-up of all previous patches. The media size is inappropriate for web download. However, unlike previous update versions, MDSF v3.1.0 will not require MDSF 3.0.0 to be installed first.
 New Features
- New 'Multi-coloured Manual' damage data
- Conversion data for FOCUS codes to MCM codes
- Improved economic procedure with feedback on those properties for which damages could not be calculated
- Support for grid or shapefile ALC (Agricultural Land Classification) data
- Quicker and more reliable visualisation
- Updated user guide (PDF) including all new features
- Other minor bug fixes and enhancements
Version 3.1.0 is the third release under the maintenance agreement. Further releases will be made throughout the year.
Support, Advice and Training
Support is now available from the MDSF team. Registered supported users have access to the mdsf online support forums. All registered users can view the frequently asked questions areas.
Additionally, the MDSF team are now able to offer a variety of training options for the use of the MDSF tools and procedures.
